COVID-19 case numbers continue to fall in the United States. The new case rate in the U.S. has stabilized over the last week; it is currently about 30,000 cases/day, seven-day average.
Virginia cases have also stabilized; currently we have about 830 cases/day, seven-day average.
Three Rivers case numbers continue at low levels; currently we are experiencing less than 10 cases/day in the district.
By CDC criteria, all Three Rivers jurisdictions are in low COVID-19 community levels.
The seven-day average number of people hospitalized in Virginia with COVID-19 has further declined; it is currently about 330.
About 72.7% of the total population in Virginia is fully vaccinated at this time.
