Urbanna’s quest to build a kayak pier at the end of Virginia Street in Urbanna continues.
Urbanna Mayor Barbara Hartley has appointed a committee to look at the proposal for a kayak launch on a 30-foot wide strip of land. The committee was formed after several people spoke at the Feb. 10 town council meeting for and against the proposed pier.
The committee includes several members who have indicated they want the pier to be built…
