Middlesex basketball team rockets ahead in first half, fizzles in final half

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger boys basketball team was eliminated from the Region A basketball tournament Wednesday, Feb. 23, in the tournament semi-finals by a sharp-shooting Lancaster Red Devils team that beat MHS, 84-61.
The Chargers ended the boys basketball season with a 16-5, 10-2 win-loss record. Middlesex won one regional tournament game with a 62-54 win, downing Northampton High School on Monday, Feb. 21.
