The Middlesex High School wrestling team will send nine wrestlers to the Salem Civic Center near Roanoke on Friday, Feb. 18, to compete in the Virginia High School League Class 1 state wrestling championships.
Thomas Wilson will compete in the 120-pound weight class division; Cameron Byers, heavy weight class; Colin Tolomeo, 126-weight class; Tucker Campbell, 138-weight class; Rowan Anderson, 152-weight class; Elliott Austin, 182-weight class; and Lucien Hampton, 132-weight class. Joseph Rowe and Owen Wynberry qualified as alternates.
