The Middlesex High School Lady Charger basketball team lost at West Point 36-14 on Tuesday, Jan. 11. The Lady Chargers didn’t seem ready to play coming off their first victory of the season the night before, said Head Coach Neil Wake. “The Lady Pointers were aggressive and that seemed to be the difference in the game,” he said.
The Lady Pointers were never challenged in the game because the Lady Chargers could not get their offense going. “Our defense was a bright spot but the offense will have to improve for us to become more competitive,” said Wake.
The Lady Chargers take on the Christchurch Lady Seahorses at Christchurch on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 3 p.m.
