The Kiwanis Club of Middlesex County will host its community celebration of Fat Tuesday on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Bethpage Camp-Resort near Urbanna. The time will be announced later.
Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) is a fun, social gathering of charity-minded people of the community who enjoy raising money to support worthy causes while having a good time. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Kiwanis Fat Tuesday fun will support youth programs in Middlesex County.
The Kiwanis Planning Committee has consulted with Dr. Richard Williams, director of Three Rivers Health District, and will follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines for the event.
