Christchurch School (CCS) senior Pierce Lambert signs scholarship papers last month to join the golf team at Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney (near Farmville) next year. Pierce is captain of the 2021-2022 Seahorse golf team, an honor roll student and also plays soccer and basketball at CCS. He is a student ambassador and member of the singing group, Cantorion.
As a junior, Pierce tied for third place in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association VISAA Division II Golf Championship at Williamsburg National Golf Club and earned All-State honors. As a ninth grader, he was on the VISAA All-State team and qualified for the Division II state tournament, where he finished in second place and had a hole-in-one. (Contributed)
