The Middlesex High School Lady Charger basketball team dropped three games in the week before the Christmas break, running its record to 0-8. “The young squad’s players have shown signs of improvement on occasion, but their inconsistency has plagued them on each occasion,” said Head Coach Neil Wake. “We need to string together four quarters of play. We have made it as far as three quarters, but just don’t finish games. We have a lot to work on and if we put the work in it should show up on the court.”

MHS boys basketball

The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity boys basketball team defeated the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers, 89-36, on Dec. 17, as the Chargers continue to dominate opponents.

MHS’s only losses this season have been to the Lancaster Red Devils who have defeated Middlesex twice this season. The Red Devils are undefeated so far this season.
