The Middlesex High School (MHS) wrestling team defeated Northampton, 54-12 and Lancaster, 42-36, on Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Chargers first home meet of the season.
The Chargers were paced by Thomas Wilson, 2-0, 120-pound weight class; Colin Tolomeo, 2-0, 126-pound weight class; Lucien Hampton, 2-0, 132-pound weight class; Rowan Anderson, 2-0, 152-pound weight class; Elliott Austin, 2-0, 182-pound weight class; and Cameron Byers, 2-0, in the heavyweight class.
Others to win a match were Cameron Price, 113-pound weight class; Tucker Campbell, 138-pound weight class; Owen Wynberry, 160-pound weight class; and Austin Lundy, 170-pound weight class.
MHS wrestlers Christopher Butler, Cole Heath, Ethan Walker, Zach Booth, Joseph Rowe and Cole Glasco all participated in exhibition matches against Northampton and Lancaster.
