Back nightly this year through New Year’s Day with 163,000 total lights

The “Deltaville Lights” mega Christmas display is back for the 17th year with 163,000 lights, including a 36,000-bulb light show synchronized to music.

There are 67 “pole trees” in the forest of lights. Most are between 8 and 15 feet tall but two rise up to 22 feet. The light show’s center piece tree is 22 feet tall with almost 12,000 lights.

Visitors can watch the light show and listen to the music in their car by tuning to FM 100.9 when within sight of the display.

The lights are on from 5-11 p.m. every night through New Year’s Day, weather permitting. Rain closures are announced on Facebook.com/DeltavilleLights.

Stephen Blue is the mastermind behind the exhibition, and was built with help from his parents Randy Blue and Carol Blue, with numerous volunteers assisting along the way throughout November. Electricity and parking are provided by Mason Realty and J&W Seafood.
