The Middlesex High School (MHS), 3-1, varsity basketball team defeated the Rappahannock High School Raiders, 78-53, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Warsaw.
Offensively, the Chargers were in double figures in all four quarters. MHS scored 25 points in the first quarter; 16, second quarter; 15, third quarter; and 22 in the fourth quarter.
MHS is now 3-1 in the won-loss column. The Chargers took on Carver Tuesday, Dec. 14; Lancaster on Wednesday, Dec. 15; and will host King & Queen Central’s Royal Tigers on Friday, Dec. 17. The games on Friday will start at 7:45 p.m.
