Despite a 0-3 start to the season, Middlesex High School girls basketball Head Coach Neil Wake sees potential in the young but talented team. “It is amazing to see their growth from game to game,” said Coach Wake. “They are willing to learn and the coaches appreciate that. They remain enthusiastic and continue to work hard in practice.”

Wake added that he and Assistant Coach Michael Lewis Sr. are seeing “flashes” of what the team can be. “We are looking forward to the day when they put it all together,” Wake said. “This is a true team where everyone is always encouraged to do their best every day. When we become a unit we will gain our success.”

The girls JV basketball team was dissolved and all JV players were moved up to varsity.
