Perry T. “Tom” Lyons Sr., 68, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 at his home in Wake,.
He was predeceased by his wife, Leslie J. Lyons; his brother, David Lyons; and his parents, Roscoe and Ruby Lyons. He is survived by his son, Perry T. “Tommy” Lyons Jr.; his daughter, Heather Lyons and her husband John David Gardy; and his grandchildren, Perry T. “Thomas” Lyons III, Abigail Lyons, Meredith Gardy, and Tabitha Gardy.
Tom was born and raised in Hampton and graduated from Kecoughtan High School.
He retired from a career as a firefighter for the federal government.
He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed bicycling and model railroads.

A graveside service is planned for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Faulkner Funeral Homes. Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
