The 2021 version of the Middlesex High School varsity Lady Chargers will be a young and inexperienced team. The basketball team did not participate in winter sports last year because of the pandemic and lost seniors to graduation. “I would like to thank them for all their hard work over the years,” said Lady Charger Head Coach Neil Wake. “They are on to the next adventure and we wish them well in their new endeavors.”
“This version of the chargers is very talented,” said Wake. ”Their success will depend on how quickly they make the adjustment to the varsity level. This is a young team with no varsity experience except for two people and if we can weather the storm early, things should pan out in the end.”
