Urbanna Baptist site of Nov. 14 string concert

A string quartet will perform a concert of music inspired by the beauty of the night sky and the wonder of its celestial bodies at Urbanna Baptist Church. A program titled “Music Of The Night” will be presented by a string quartet from the local Strings and Things network of musicians on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. The free performance will be presented at Urbanna Baptist Church and is open to the public.

Selections will include a range of musical styles from classical to popular and beyond. 

Strings and Things is a network of between 20 and 25 professionally trained musicians in coastal and central Virginia. The membership represents a variety of instrumentation, including violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, and keyboard.
