Results announced for 2021 Oyster Fest

Urbanna Oyster Festival officials released results Monday for the Nov. 5 and 6 event’s shucking contest, Fireman’s and Festival parades and antique cars show. 

Oyster Shucking Contest

    Overall first place — Isabella “Gator” Macbeth, Virginia Beach, two minutes, 46 seconds.

  • Overall runner-up — Ian Johnson, Norfolk, two minutes, 50 seconds.
  • Professional Division Men first place — Ian Johnson, Norfolk, two minutes, 39 seconds.
  • Professional Division Men runner-up — Davilla Redmond, Topping, three minutes, 42 seconds.

  • Amateur Division first place — Brooklynn Paul, Delaplane, two minutes, 10 seconds.
  • Amateur Division runner-up — Kasay Smith, Deltaville, two minutes, 13 seconds.
  • Amateur Division third place — David Jackson, Urbanna, two minutes, 35 seconds.
