The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team ended the 2021 gridiron season with a 47-6 win over the rival Mathews Blue Devils. MHS ended its season with an overall 3-3 win-loss record and 1-2 in Tidewater District.

“It was a fun game for the kids and a great way to end the season,” said head MHS coach Joel Anderson.  “We had great community support on a cold night game, but with the kids’ excitement and positive community support, it turned out to be a good night.”

“Thank you to everyone who helped make team meals this season, and supported these young adults through the highs and lows of this season,” said Coach Anderson. “Thanks from all the coaches and the Middlesex High School family. Go Chargers!”
