Four MHS runners qualify for state meet

Evans, Reyes, Powell, Graulich head to Plains this Saturday

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger boys cross country team finished fourth in the Region A cross country meet in Williamsburg on Thursday, Nov. 4. Mathews Blue Devils won the meet with 19 points.

MHS was paced by Wyatt Evans, who finished sixth in the 5K race with a 19:37 time. Vicente Reyes was 14th (20:13); Nathan Powell, 18th (20:54); Erik Graulich, 20th (21:10); Shane Glenn, 23rd (21:39); Nathan Campbell, 26th (21:48); and Elliott Austin, 27th (21:53).

The boys had four to qualify for the state meet at Great Meadows State Park in Plains, Va., on Saturday, Nov. 13. Evans, Reyes, Powell and Graulich will run in the meet.
