Rain, muddy field fail to slow Royal Tigers in 40-0 downing of Middlesex High School Chargers

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team (2-3, 0-2) lost to a powerful, undefeated King & Queen Royal Tiger team on Friday night, 40-0, at King & Queen High School.

The rain and muddy field did not slow down the Royal Tigers offensively or defensively Friday night.

K&Q scored three touchdowns in the first quarter to finish off the quarter with a 20-0 lead. The touchdowns came on two offensive drives and a Royal Tiger six-pick defensive touchdown with 2:34 left in the quarter. The Royal Tigers scored in every quarter, while Middlesex could not muster much offense…
