Chargers fall 49-0, but show some life following recovery of Pointers fumble

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team (2-2 overall, 0-1 Tidewater) ran into a West Point (WP) Pointer offensive buzz-saw Friday night as the Pointers defeated MHS, 49-0.

The Pointers scored seven touchdowns against MHS as the Chargers were unable to slow down the run game of the West Point Pointers.

The Middlesex Chargers have the coming week off and will host the Mathews Blue Devils in a rescheduled matchup set for Friday, Oct. 22 and will also present senior night festivities…
