The Middlesex High School varsity Lady Charger volleyball team (7-7) defeated visiting Washington and Lee (W&L) in four sets on Oct. 4, and defeated host King and Queen Central on Oct. 7, also in four sets.
Against W&L the Lady Chargers won the first and second sets 25-19 and 25-17. W&L won the third set 18 to 25. Middlesex took the fourth set 25 to 14 to claim the win.
Lady Charger Ella Hodges led the night with 16 kills, nine digs and four aces.
