Deltaville to benefit from trail, better water access

The first of the week was gray and dismal. A book reading day. The creek had boats moored waiting out the tides and bad weather. It was a time for excuses to watch television or if really motivated clean out a closet.

Tall buildings mar beach

Friends from Michigan wanted to see the Neptune statue, so we drove down to Virginia Beach. They were stunned at the tall buildings and crowds. Their comments were pretty much, “Who would want to come here to the beach?”

But when we went down to Sandbridge, there were so many huge houses that the waterfront was inaccessible.

Deltaville growing sensibly

We have so much gratitude for Deltaville all over again. There are projects that we help happen like the bike trail and more water access for the people that don’t have waterfront. But most of all not to allow progress to consume us…
