Charger junior Peyton Lambert medals with a 77

The Middlesex High School golf team finished in third place as a team on Sept. 30 in the Regional 1A Tournament with a score of 380. Peyton Lambert, a junior, medaled with a 77, and sophomore Garrison Robins medaled with a 96. Peyton Lambert finish fourth overall, and Robins was 10th overall. Both will be playing in the state tournament as individuals on Oct. 11, at Olde Mill Golf Resort at Laurel Fork, which is south of Blacksburg.
Also for Middlesex, Cameron Lambert shot a 99, good for 12th overall. Nelson McMinn shot 108, Hudson McMinn shot a 112, and Kolby Moore shot 121.
