Another $35,560 added to cost of $800,000 project — includes offices

Progress is moving forward on the Cooks Corner Office Complex (CCOC) building as three of five heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) handling units have been installed, reported assistant County Administrator Ann Marie S. Ricardi at the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors meeting on Sept. 7.
The $800,000 project is expected to be “substantially” completed by the end of December, Ricardi reported to the board. She also reported there was a change order for “#2 Gym Floor Repair/replacement,” which will add another $35,560 to the project.
Another change order was suggested to install fencing around the large HVAC system but the cost has not yet been determined, she reported.
The complex currently includes the Middlesex County Public Schools administration offices, Middlesex County Social Services offices, and the gym…
