Chargers wallop Windsor after first two games canceled

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team put on an offensive and defensive clinic Friday night as MHS defeated the Windsor Dukes, 35-6, in its opening game of the 2021 gridiron season.
The Chargers were paced on offense by quarterback Mike Hammond who rushed for 88 yards on 10 carries, was two for three passing for 25 yards and scored three of the Chargers five touchdowns in the Saluda matchup.
MHS was paced on defense by Austin Lundy who had two sacks, six tackles and scored the Chargers first touchdown of the season by recovering an MHS fumble in the end zone.
