Fido and Miss Kitty have had all their vaccines but when they heard that the Delta variant of COVID-19 is on the rise they decided to mask up anyway as a precaution. Well, not really, but it’s a sweet way of telling their human friends to heed the cautions of doctors and scientists.
We were all hoping to be done with the pandemic by the fall, but with Delta and then Lambda variants rising up we must continue to take precautions not only for ourselves but for all those about whom we care. Listen to Kitty and Fido — they care about us too.
The pandemic has restricted Middlesex Pet Friends for Life’s (MPFL) fundraising efforts but we are hoping to get back to some events this fall. We will have a booth at the Sept. 11 Urbanna Farmers Market and later in September at Holly Point Farmers Market in Deltaville.
Please stop by to say hello, visit our pups and kitties and check out some really cool pet toys.
We have some lovely dogs at the shelter right now: big and small. If you are in search of a loving companion, call 804-695-7772 to visit these precious babies just waiting…
