Catholic Church of the Visitation is celebrating the completion of its new worship area. The celebration is set for 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, in the church’s pavilion and will feature a live concert by “The FlatTones.” There will also be beer tasting, prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
Purchase of a $40 ticket includes dinner of “brats” and sauerkraut, barbecue, cole slaw, potato salad and beverage — four tickets will get you five-ounce beer samples. Water or soda will also be available.
