The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors (MCBS) voted 4-1 this month to approve a resolution to “educate Middlesex County residents and the medical community on the risks of traveling to China for organ transplants in light of recent reports of state sponsored organ harvesting from prisoners of the People’s Republic of China’s Communist party.” The vote occurred at the supervisors Aug. 3 regular monthly meeting.
At the July board meeting, supervisors heard an alarming report from several American Chinese from northern Virginia who said that the Chinese Communist Party was euthanizing political foes, harvesting their organs and selling them to western country buyers.
During the August meeting, the group returned with a petition requesting that the board pass a resolution to help educate Americans on the horrors of organ harvesting…
