July 11, 2021, marked four years since Margaret “Peggy” Thornton Lammers was found brutally murdered in her family’s river home on Stove Point in Deltaville.
The Richmond Division of the FBI is assisting the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigating Peggy Lammers death and has created a video about the investigation. Both agencies are asking the public for any information they might have.
In the FBI video, Peggy Lammers’ son comments that the river home has gone from “the happiest place on Earth for me to the saddest place on Earth.” The son said he may never go back to the river home.
