Fifty-four teams helped celebrate a Hartfield golf course’s 25th year by playing in the Piankatank River Golf Club Anniversary Celebration Tournament on July 10. Two-person teams competed in 18 holes of Captain’s Choice.
They include:
• Men’s First Flight — First, Joe Sibley and Hunter Martin (61); second, David Harris and Mark Harris (62); third, Peyton Lambert and Pierce Lambert (62).
• Men’s Second Flight — First, Larry Autry and Danny Whitaker (71); second, Dale Hudgins and Nick Stump (71); third, Cole Herrington and Dennis Webb (71).
• Men’s Third Flight — First, Al Langer and Charlie Hart (75); second, Matt Morgan and Martin Brent (75); third, Andrew Hooper and Jason Dalson (76).
• Women’s Flight — First, Christy Pitts and Chrystal Welch (76); second, Kelly Lowe and Mary Francisco (76).
• Mixed Flight — First, Regina Custis and Jayson Custis (68); second, Suzanne Wright and James Wright (71).
• Closest to the Pin — Hole #5, Jim Goforth; Hole #7, John Donner; Hole #14 Danny Whitaker; and Hole #17, Peyton Lambert.
