Independence Day-themed boat parade thrills Urbanna

Ten boats entered the Urbanna Boat Parade on July 2 that was part of the town’s celebration of Independence Day, capped by fireworks. Prizes were awarded for the most patriotic entry, James and Kelly Blue, and most creative, which went to Sandy Sturgill’s Rub-A-Dud featuring the Bubble Bath Babes (see photos).

Prizes were donated by Bubba’s Shrimp Shack, Urbanna Trading Company, Urbanna Town Marina and the Town of Urbanna. Urbanna

Town Marina manager and parade organizer Joyce Eanes thanked all who entered and attended this event.
