Deltas sweep weekend series

First road game of season Friday in Tappahannock

Jacob Houston, Spencer Crittenden and Jay Sewer combined to go 14-for-18 at the plate over two games last weekend, as the Deltaville Deltas lineup pounded out 31 runs in victories over the Richmond Smokies and the Richmond Yankees.

With the wins, Deltaville moves to 6-0 on the season, in solid control of first place in the Richmond NABA-East standings. 

Deltaville returns to the field twice this weekend, including their first road game of the year. On Friday night, Deltaville travels to Essex High School to take on the Tappahannock Tides at 7 p.m., and on Saturday they return home for a 7:30 p.m. matchup against the Richmond Braves…
