Track boys to compete in June 18 state meet

The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys track team finished sixth as a team at the Region A track meet at West Point High School on Tuesday, June 8.

The Chargers were paced by Wyatt Brown who won the 110 high hurdles with a blazing time of 15.59. Brown has one more chance at the Virginia State Meet this week to break the school’s 22-year-old record of 15.1. Brown also placed second in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.75.

The Virginia 1A state track and field championships are set for June 18 at James Madison University…
