The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity girls soccer team finished off its regular season with two losses and a canceled game due to inclement weather.

The Lady Chargers lost to the Eastern Shore’s Northampton High School (NHS) last week, 8-1. MHS’ only goal came in the second half when Jade Tullos beat NHS’ defense and scored.

Tullos has been the top Lady Charger scorer this COVID-19 season. She had three more goals on Monday, June 7, when MHS played the Northumberland Indians.

The Lady Indians beat Middlesex, 6-3. The overall team performance had the Lady Chargers hopeful they could beat the Indians in MHS’s final regular season game on Wednesday, June 9.

The last game was conducted at Northumberland and the Lady Indians scored two goals before the game came to an end right at the end of the first half when a thunderstorm came through.

The storm also canceled the varsity boys final regular season game.
