Deltaville filled with deer, turtle and pizza sightings

The recent rains or deluges have been wonderful. The storms are dramatic and living on the water means we are part of the drama.

Oh deer

If the deer were not so beautiful, tactics to deter them would be put into place. One doe just looked up while she was tasting the Carolina jasmine as if to say, “Me. You are asking me to leave?” then she ambled off, took a casual hop over the fence and faded into the woods.

Turtles on the move

Pete Woods is a turtle lover and wants the word put out that now is the time the turtles are moving. For some reason they, much like the chickens, cross the road.
