Christchurch School (CCS) golf team captain Pierce Lambert (Class of 2022) represented Christchurch School at the VISAA Division II State golf championships conducted at the Yorktown Course, Williamsburg National Golf Club, on Monday, May 17. Lambert finished in a four-way tie for third place out of 120 players with a 3 over par 75. The weather was perfect and the course was in a condition that allowed the ball to roll well in the fairways.

Overall the Seahorses had a productive season, albeit a shortened one, and the players enjoyed playing several courses outside the area. Coach Tim Roscher, looks forward to gathering the team in spring 2022 with a full schedule of matches playing some of the best teams in central Virginia and the nicest courses in the state.

Coach Roscher thanked the owners and staff at Piankatank River Golf Club for their unselfish support of the team.
