Harrow scores for MHS softball squad

On June 1, Middlesex High School’s varsity Lady Charger softball team lost to Lancaster 11-1. The teams were tied 1-1 after two innings. Then Lancaster scored two runs in the third and fourth innings for a 5-1 lead, and added six in the fifth inning.

For Middlesex, Courtney Harrow had a double, two walks and scored. Autumn Jackson and Skye Haskiell singled; Aniyah Thompson had an RBI.

On June 2, Lancaster blanked Middlesex 10-0. Lancaster scored one run in the first inning and three runs in the second inning. Middlesex held them scoreless in the third and fourth innings. Then Lancaster scored six runs in the fifth inning.

For Middlesex, Alyssa Mitchem had two singles; Chelsey Holmes had a triple; and Autumn Jackson had a single.
