Farewell reception for pastor at LUMC is June 13

After six wonderful years, Pastor Ileana Rosario will depart Lower United Methodist Church (LUMC) for a new assignment at Benns United Methodist Church in Smithfield. Pastor Ileana came to Middlesex County in 2015 with her daughter Julie Rosas and quickly won the hearts of the Lower Church congregation and established a strong relationship with other clergy in Middlesex serving as the president of the Ministerial Council planning joint worship services and activities with other congregations.

Lower United Methodist Church will host a farewell reception for Pastor Ileana and daughter Julie Rosas from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at the Piankatank River Golf Course’s (PRGC) clubhouse. PRGC is at 6198 Stormont Road in Hartfield. All are welcome to help show appreciation for the wonderful blessings and service received and to wish Pastor Ileana and Julie Godspeed and blessings in their new church home.
