The May Daze event, which had been announced for today, Saturday, May 29, have been postponed, due to today’s rainy, gusty weather in Urbanna.
“The Urbanna May Daze event was postponed due to weather,” Urbanna Town Administrator Garth Wheeler told the Sentinel today via email. “The field was soggy and several vendors canceled. The classic car folks don’t like putting their cars out in the rain or soft ground. It’s being re-scheduled for June 12.”
The 6 p.m. concert featuring Big Ray and Kool Kats duo Eddie Sal and David Lacks is also postponed, rather than moving indoors to the Urbanna firehouse. But the new time hasn’t been announced yet. “The concert is going to be re-scheduled for another date,” Wheeler said.
