Charger girls No. 1 doubles players Green-Reinhardt to play in regional semifinals today at Mathews

Middlesex High School’s (MHS) varsity girls tennis team looked extra-sharp in its final regular season matches last week, surpassing all three opponents. The Charger girls defeated Mathews twice — 6-3 in home action Thursday, May 20, and 7-2 in away action Monday, May 17. MHS also blanked Northampton 9-0 in away action on Tuesday, May 18.

Middlesex started its post-season playoffs Tuesday, May 25, playing Rappahannock in the Region One Single A tournament at Rappahannock Community College’s Warsaw campus. Results were unavailable at press time. MHS’s number one singles player, Maddie Green, had been scheduled to play Wednesday, May 26, in the Region One Single A semifinals at Mathews High School. Results were unavailable at press time.

Middlesex’s number one doubles players, Green and Reinhardt, are scheduled to play in the Region One Single A regional doubles semifinals today. These sets start at 9 a.m., Thursday, May 27, at Mathews…
