Leon P. “L.P.” Price, 81, of Deltaville, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021.
He was a former oyster inspector on the Potomac River and later retired from the Newport News Shipyard with 44 years of service as a ship inspector.
He is survived by his sons, Keith D. Price and Gregory S. Price; grandchildren, Scott Price, Amanda Price; and a great-granddaughter, Lexi.
A graveside funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. on Friday, May 28 in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery in Deltaville.
