The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Keep Middlesex Beautiful Anti-Litter Committee. While not a direct part of the committee, the sheriff’s office has assisted in providing safety and security to the many residents in the county while they picked up litter. They have also helped advise in a legal aspect in response to the many questions regarding both traffic and trash laws, as well as helping identify the areas within the county that many people choose to illegally dump their trash.
Some of the places in the county that have been focused on are in the Hartfield and Topping areas, but efforts have been countywide in problematic areas. The sheriff’s office thanks the committee in its ongoing efforts and will continue to support it in any way possible.
