Bartlett Tree Experts is celebrating Earth Day by giving away free pecan trees to the community. “We have beautiful bare-root pecan trees for the first one hundred people who stop by,” Brandon Frazier reported. Frazier is the local Bartlett arborist representative for the area.
“Each year Bartlett gives away hundreds of trees to the local community to encourage native habitats and wildlife restoration,” he said.
The free tree give-away will be conducted on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22, at Dug In Farms located at 155 Fleets Bay Road in White Stone. Bartlett Tree Experts will be on site from 9 a.m. until the trees are gone. Dug In Farms is hosting a nursery-wide sale to celebrate Earth Day and will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Other local organizations will participate in the Earth Day celebration…
