Urbanna United Methodist Church’s Holy Week services will begin with a service of Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday, today, April 1, and a Good Friday service of meditation on the passion of Christ on Friday, April 2. Both services will begin at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
The April 4 Easter Sunday service will be offered outside in the prayer garden at 11 a.m. Bring flowers to place on the living cross in front of the church. Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair for the service. If you do not have a chair, one will be provided. Special music will be offered by the praise band Jubal and there will be a short children’s message with an Easter surprise. Visitors and guests are welcome to join them on this joyous day. Social distancing and appropriate face coverings will be required.
