The Middlesex High School (MHS) golf team defeated the Lancaster Red Devils, 371-385, Saturday at Golden Eagle Golf Course in Irvington and finished second in a quad-meet at the Piankatank River Golf Course in Hartfield on Monday to King William (KW).
The Chargers All-State performer Peyton Lambert paced MHS with an 83 stroke score on the 18-hole course. Thomas Wilson added to the MHS cause shooting a 96, and Garrison and Linton Robins scored 96 and 97 respectively. Alternate Kolby Moore shot a 104 and Hudson McMinn shot 110.
The Lancaster Red Devils were paced by Ben Pittman who shot an 86, three strokes behind Lambert; Eli Pittman, 96; Creston Saunders, 97; Leyton Dew, 115; Pierson Long, 120; and Carter McGee, 106.
