Bring your children and friends to Lower United Methodist Church in Hartfield for a special drive-by Easter egg hunt this Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Without leaving your car, come down the driveway where volunteers will provide your children with a sanitized bag with Easter eggs, candies, snacks, toys and books to read at home. “We want the children to remember the beautiful story of our Savior Jesus Christ and His love for all children,” a church representative said.
Together, several area churches have also joined efforts to make this an even bigger blessed time for the children from the safety of their vehicles at no cost. Antioch Baptist Church, Christ Church Parish, Grafton Baptist Church and Pure Life Church will also share the message of God’s love and bestow special treats to the children.
The Love4Kids Foundation will also provide goodies and sponsor free photos with the Easter Bunny, socially distanced atop a tractor provided by Johnny Fleet. Families are welcome to join the photos with the children. LaDawn Hodges Photography will take the photos and they will be available as free online downloads. Families may choose to purchase prints, as well, through the online portal.
