Deltaville, Urbanna libraries offering robot-building fun

These two robots were made from some of the free kits available at the Deltaville and Urbanna libraries starting Wednesday, April 7.

by Mary Ann McKay –

The Deltaville and Urbanna branch libraries will host outdoor story times (weather permitting) about robots during the area schools’ spring break. Story times will take place Tuesday, April 6, at 10:30 a.m. at the Deltaville branch library, and Wednesday, April 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Urbanna branch library. Preschoolers through fifth grade students — with their parents or guardians — are invited to bring a chair or blanket to sit outside, socially distanced, to enjoy some fun and interesting stories about robots. Robot craft kits and instructions will be given out at story time. Kits can also be picked up at the front desk of both libraries starting Wednesday, April 7.
