Zoar Baptist Church’s drive-in “beach” worship at Stingray Point resumes on Sunday, April 11, the Sunday after Easter. Congregants will meet outside on property at the mouth of the Rappahannock River on the Chesapeake Bay. They may sit in their vehicles or bring their lawn chairs and sit on the lawn, practicing social distancing. An FM radio broadcast is transmitted by Zoar from the beach property so it can be heard in vehicles.
Participants may also bring their lawn chairs and practice social distancing on the lawn in front of the platform.
The service begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends around 9:20 a.m.
