The Middlesex High School varsity Lady Charger volleyball team is off to a 3-0 start. The Lady Chargers have swept all opponents so far winning each match in three games.
On March 4, the Lady Chargers easily handled host King and Queen, 25-12, 25-15 and 25-6.
On Monday, March 8, the Lady Chargers defeated Mathews 25-17, 25-20 and 25-9. In the second set, Mathews jumped to a 9-2 lead. However, Middlesex battled back and tied it at 13-13. The teams tied again at 18-18 before Middlesex surged ahead for 25-20 win.
“I’m very pleased with how we executed our game plan,” said Lady Charger head coach Brian Walton. “I am very pleased with where we are at this point…”
