Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia (MPAAGHS) will conduct a virtual meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. This meeting will feature a roundtable discussion at which participants will have the opportunity to share queries and details about their family research. Family historians from around the country have traced their roots to Virginia’s Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. This meeting will afford those persons a chance to share surnames and places with other researchers as well as to share resources and research techniques that have been used successfully.
Persons wishing to pay MPAAGHS 2021 dues ($20) may do so on the organization’s website (mpaagenealogicalsociety.org) or by mailing checks made payable to MPAAGHS to MPAAGHS, 4114 Tidewater Trail, Jamaica, VA 23079.
